TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is MAY 21st
- MAY 25th!
The Towers PTA is happy to sponsor Teacher Appreciation Week. What a
great way to show your support to our wonderful Towers Teachers
letting them know how much we value their work.
Monday, May 21st Breakfast Cart
Tuesday, May 22nd Flower Bouquet - Bring a flower from your garden
to make a bouquet for your teacher. Drop flowers off in the
Kindergarten playground before school begins.
Wednesday, May 23rd Teacher & Staff Luncheon
Thursday, May 24th Door Decorations (Theme: Fun In The Sun!)
Friday, May 25th Special Gift presented to our Towers Teachers at
the assembly (gift given by the PTA)

8th
ANNUAL ELEMENTARY TRACK MEET ON FRIDAY, JUNE 8th AT WEST HIGH SCHOOL
Nine elementary schools from TUSD will be competing this year in the
8th Annual Elementary Track Meet. Towers Elementary School will be
one of the participants. The track team consists of 3rd, 4th, and
5th grade students who have tried out and made the team. The meet
begins at 3:30 and ends at approximately 7:00 p.m. at West High
School. Please join us and cheer on our Towers team!
SOUTH BAY ENRICHMENT ACADEMY (SBEA)
Have you made your summer plans yet? Registration is now open for
the South Bay Enrichment Academy! This year the Elementary Program
will be held at Arnold and Arlington Elementary Schools June 25th
through July 20th. This fee based program is available to all
incoming K-5th grade students in the South Bay area. Exciting new
courses have been added! View the course descriptions and

STUDENT SHOWCASE
Tower’s student showcase is coming on Wednesday, May 30th from 12:15
– Dismissal. Please be sure to mark your calendars. All grades will
be going to lunch at 12:15 and eating at the outside benches and
field area. Parents are welcome to come and bring their chairs,
picnic blankets and lunch. At approximately 1:10 p.m. parents can
join their students in their classrooms for the showcase of student
work. Our display of student art through our Adventures in Art
program will be showcased in the cafeteria. We look forward to a
wonderful afternoon.
