How to register/renew Grocery Club Cards to support Towers 2011-2012

In order for the contribution to take effect, Vons, Pavilions, and Ralphs club cards need to be renewed every year.

How to Sign up or renew Vons and Pavilions Cards:

Call escrip if you need help signing up: 800-254-5404

To sign up for the first time:

1. Go to www.eScrip.com

2. Click on "1-Sign Up"

3. Enter the Group ID: 136558945 (for Towers Elementary school)

4. Follow the simple steps register and enter your Club Card number

To Renew:

1. Go to www.eScrip.com

2. Click on Yes! Renew your commitment to Safeway Stores Today!

3. Follow the simple steps to renew your Club card

1. Go to My Account (top right corner link) if not already there.

2. Verify that all the information under each tab is correct.

3. Make sure that under Community Rewards (last tab), Towers Elementary school is specified.

How to sign up for Super A Foods:

1. Sign up at the store. Super A Foods will give you their eScrip Community Card.

2. Activate it by online or call the number shown on the card. When activating on-line, follow the directions on the back and type the letters exactly (cap sensitive): www.escrip.com/SuperA.jsp

3. Present this card every time you shop at Super A Foods before you pay. There is no need to renew with this card.

Verify that all pertinent information on escrip is correct. First sign-on to My eScrip, click on Go to Account Administration. Verify that Towers is under Group Selection, and all the club cards appear under Grocery/Community Cards.

How to sign up or renew Ralphs Cards:

Call Ralphs 800-443-4438 if you have trouble signing up online.

To sign up for the first time:

1. Go to www.Ralphs.com

2. Click on Create an Account under the red menu bar on top.

3. Follow the steps to create an account.

4. Go to My Account (top right corner link) if not already there.

5. Verify that all the information under each tab is correct.

6. Go to Community Rewards under the Account Settings tab. Find Towers school and verify that Towers Elementary school is the recipient of the program.

To Renew:

1. Go to www.Ralphs.com

2. Sign in by clicking on Sign In under the red menu bar on top.

3. Click on My Account (top right corner link)

4. Go to Community Rewards under the Account Settings tab. Find Towers school and verify that Towers Elementary school is the recipient of the program.

How to sign up at Target REDcard:

This contribution will work if you already have a REDcard account. This is Target’s Credit and Debit card that saves you 5% every time you use it. You can either apply for the card on-line or go into the store to apply. By enrolling in this program and designating Towers school, you can contribute 1% towards our school:

1. Go to www.Target.com

2. Towards the bottom under the REDcard, click on the link, Card Benefits

3. Click on Enroll button in the Take Charge of Education section

4. Follow the steps to find the school and designate Towers Elementary School

Some FAQ’s about eScrip

1. What is eScrip and what’s the difference between Scrip and eScrip?

Both eScrip and Scrip programs are fundraising programs that allow participating merchants to contribute to the school or other organizations. The difference between the two programs is that by enrolling in the eScrip program, a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debitATM card purchases are given to the school or organization of your choice. For Vons/Pavilions and Ralphs, you need to re-enroll every year in order to continue in the program. Scrip on the other hand allows you to purchase the gift cards from the participating merchants. At Towers, these giftcards can be purchased from school by turning in an order form or buying directly at the Scrip booth.

2. How do I sign up for eScrip? Simply register online by going to www.escrip.com. Ralphs and Target stores are not part of the eScrip program, but they also contribute to our school when you sign up and designate our school on their websites. For details on registering and renewing your club cards, please go to www.TowersPTA.com/fundraising.htm

3. How will I know which of my cards have been registered? Go to My eScrip to view or update your registered cards. For Ralphs, at the bottom of the receipt, it will show that a contribution is being made to Towers school.

4. How much contribution can Towers get from these stores? Potentially, up to 5% of your grocery purchases can be contributed to Towers. For example, say a family of four spends $600 for groceries per month. In one year, shopping at Super A Foods will bring in $336. At Vons, $120. At Ralphs, $162. This is only from one family. Can you imagine the potential if ALL families at Towers participated? Thank you for supporting eScrip!
